Wood Crates

This year, I've painted some Christmas windows, sold them as “Dickens” style. So I decided that it would be appropriate to work in period clothing. I carry paint cans in a plastic container, and it doesn't fit the look of the clothing and old tools. I took scrap wood and made crates. I hope that I have the Russian version correct. The long sides are proportioned to the Golden Mean; a more attractive rectangle. This proportion is used in classic architecture, as well as the design of a Nautilus shell, and certain flowers. This is my first metric project; the boards are 6cm X 51cm. The dimensions of the long sides are 31.5cm high X 51cm wide. Both crates have a coat of Shellac, the lighter one has no color so that it resembles birch, the other crate has a coat of amber colored Shellac. There is a vector / SVG file available:
